Curator Marcus De Chevrieux is an expert in 18th and 19th century maritime art, specializing in American marine paintings. His 20 year background in fine art includes 7 years as Managing Director of the prestigious Vallejo Maritime Gallery in Newport Beach and 6 years as Curator for the Newport Harbor Nautical Museum. Presently, he serves as Curator for the Kelton Foundation Collections in Los Angeles, housing one of the largest privately owned maritime collections in the country. As an 8th-generation Californian, he has a strong interest in early California history, genealogy and culture. |
