Mrs. Paul Markham Kahn - Director & Chairwoman

A native of Jacksonville, Florida, Linda actively pursues the goals and aims of the Foundation as she leads the current projects and develops new ones for the future. (additional biographical information) 

Richard J. Arnason, C.P.A. - Director

Richard holds a degree in Rhetoric from the University of California, Berkeley and and MBA from San Francisco State University.

Charles N. Kahn, Jr. – Director

Charles N. Kahn, Jr. is from New Orleans, LA.  He was born in Natchez, Mississippi and is currently Vice President of Dixie Building Materials Co., Inc. of New Orleans.  He is in charge of their production and quality of their ready mixed concrete.  He is also a senior partner in Concrete Consultants, an engineering group practicing the various disciplines of ready mixed concrete, as well as an Instructor in the Civil Engineering Department at the University of New Orleans, and an Associate at the Civil Tech School at Delgado Junior College.  He received his B.E. from Tulane Engineering in Mechanical Engineering and his M.C.E. from the University of Maryland in Civil Engineering and  was awarded an honorary Doctorate by American University for work done toward certification of laboratory technicians.  He has served in a number of capacities in various professional organizations and has provided expert witness testimony in litigation.  Charles is a talented artist, having studied art with Leonard Flettrich, Lois Fine and Zella Furek.  He is an exhibiting sculptor in Plexiglas and Lucite.

V. Louise McClure – Director

Louise is from Jacksonville, Florida.  Currently she is a realtor in Jacksonville and has served in a number of capacities in various professional organizations, including one year of service as President of the Jacksonville, Florida chapter of the Women’s Council of Realtors.  She received her B.M.E. in Music Education from Florida State University.  Louise has taught in the public schools in Florida and in Georgia and she has served as music consultant for a national publishing company for many years, traveling extensively, primarily throughout the southeastern part of the United States.  She is active in many civic and music groups including the Lions’ Club, the Neighborhood Watch, the Music Educators’ National Conference, the Florida Music Educators’ Association, the Friday Musicale and the Methodist Church.
